Syrius Robotics là startup công nghệ có trụ sở chính tại Thâm Quyến, Trung Quốc. Sản phẩm chủ lực của công ty này là robot chuyên vận chuyển hàng hóa trong nhà kho. Việc sử dụng các thiết bị tự động để vận chuyển hàng hóa trong các nhà kho vốn đã phổ biến trên thế giới. Tuy nhiên, các máy móc này chủ yếu di chuyển theo tín hiệu phát ra từ các miếng băng từ dán sẵn trên sàn nhà. Điều này có nghĩa là các robot chỉ có thể đi theo một lộ trình có sẵn và không có khả năng tránh các chướng ngại vật trên đường.
Syrius Robotics đã khắc phục điểm yếu này bằng cách chế tạo một con chip tích hợp trí tuệ nhân tạo. Nhờ con chip này, sau khi nhận hàng hóa từ công nhân, robot phân tích hình ảnh không gian xung quanh rồi chọn lộ trình di chuyển đến vị trí yêu cầu. Nếu gặp các chướng ngại vật trên đường, robot tự động tránh né và chọn hướng di chuyển khác.

Đây là điểm đột phá của sản phẩm vì trước đây, nếu muốn sử dụng các thiết bị tự động trong nhà kho, các doanh nghiệp phải bỏ ra chi phí lớn để thiết kế lại cơ sở hạ tầng nhà kho sao cho phù hợp với hướng di chuyển định sẵn của thiết bị. Mỗi robot của Syrius Robotics có khả năng chở tối đa 50 kg hàng hóa, pin hoạt động trong vòng 10 giờ.
“Chúng tôi gọi sản phẩm này là robot có tư duy logic, Nhờ vậy, tăng năng suất vận hành nhà kho lên 300-500%. “, ông Adam Jiang – nhà sáng lập kiêm CEO của Syrius Robotics cho biết.
Ông Adam Jiang kỳ vọng sản phẩm của mình sẽ tạo ra một “cuộc cách mạng” trong việc quản lý nhà kho – một hoạt động vốn tốn nhiều chi phí của các doanh nghiệp. Hiện nay, hãng thương mại điện tử lớn của Trung Quốc JD đã đặt mua 80 sản phẩm này và đang xem xét khả năng đầu tư vào Syrius Robotics. Ở Nhật Bản, startup này cũng đã bán 40 thiết bị cho hãng sản xuất ôtô Mitsubishi.
